Disable your Javascript! Do it now. It should speedup your entire experience by atleast 50% and you won’t notice the difference in usability except for a handful of sites. If there are any specific sites (gmail, facebook etc etc)where you can’t do without js, just rightclick in opera and click on “edit site preferences”. Go to scrpiting tab and enable java script. In most cases you can keep everything else disabled.
TRY IT. It really works! Ofcourse you will need Opera to specify such settings on a site by site basis.
